This yarn for self-dyeing is made up in a 100 gr skein. Therefore, it is very well suitable for all those who want to dye yarns themselves.
Due to a special spinning method and an even finer Merino wool extra fine with 18.5 micron we managed to increase the quality of our “Seidenhimmel” again.
Of course, the yarn complies with Ökotex standard 100 and is mulesing free as well as free of harmful substances.
Because of a silk portion of 25 % and an extra fine Merino wool with 18.5 micron the yarn has a soft sheen which makes it very special.
The wax portion as well as the degree of soiling is reduced to a minimum by a special process.
Therefore, our wool is something very special for all hand dyers and is the ideal wool for dyeing.
You will produce very clear and outstanding colours.
Because of its superwash finishing the wool is also machine-washable and non-felting.
Get enchanted by our wonderfully soft and dimensionally stable yarn which is twisted from four threads.

so weich - ein Traum
Hallo, Seidenhimmel Deluxe ist ein seidig-glänzender Traum von Wolle. Ob handgefärbt mit Säurefarben oder einfach in natur belassen, lässt es sich wunderbar verstricken. Das tolles Strickbild und die Weichheit hat mich von diesem Garn überzeugt. Ich werde es definitiv noch mehrmals verstricken.

Eine echte Wucht
Hallo, der Seidenhimmel Deluxe ist eine absolute Superklasse! Das Handling vor und nach dem Färben (mit Säurefarben) ist sehr gut. Und beim Stricken ist es ebenso! Danke!!

Himmlische Haptik, schönes Färbeergebnis
Das Garn fühlt sich traumhaft an, es macht eine wahre Freude es zu färben und zu verstricken. Gefärbt haben wir mit Ostereierfarben, das Ergebnis kann sich wirklich sehen lassen. Die Farbe kommt etwas blasser raus, als auf der Gipfelstürmer, die wir ebenfalls in dem Arbeitsgang gefärbt hatten, aber das mag an den Ostereierfarben von Heitmann liegen. Ich mag es dennoch. Der Versuch mit "echten" Säurefarben steht noch aus.
